Laboratoires de Biarritz Baby Nappy Cream stands out from conventional nappy creams thanks to two exclusive marine active ingredients unique to the brand. Alga-Paisium (organic FUCUS VESICULOSUS EXTRACT) is present throughout the Alga Natis range for its soothing properties on babies' delicate skin. Alga-Sendatu® (GELIDIUM SESQUIPEDALE EXTRACT), a patented active ingredient derived from red algae from the Basque coast, provides a real differentiation: it promotes the repair of the superficial layers of the epidermis and helps to reduce the reactivity of sensitised skin, two properties directly useful for the nappy area exposed to repeated friction and aggressions. Zinc oxide (ZINC OXIDE) in second position in the INCI list indicates a significant concentration: it is the main barrier and purifying active ingredient in the formula, identical to that used in conventional zinc oxide ointments. ZINC PCA provides additional sebum regulation. SQUALANE (of plant origin, vegan) and CERAMIDE NP complete the repair of the lipid film. CERAMIDE NP here is of synthetic/plant origin (vegan formula confirmed by the brand). Manufacturer's usage test (n=32 babies, 3-37 months, paediatric control, 14 days, thick layer after each change up to 8 times/day): 97% protection from irritation and comfort; 94% repair of irritated skin and formation of a moisturising barrier.
