Sapiens. — Beard Growth Serum 30ml

Sapiens Beard Growth Serum is a coherent cosmetic formula for beard area maintenance, though its claims need to be re-evaluated. Two biotechnological active ingredients structure the formula. Capilia Longa (Vytrus Biotech) is an extract of Curcuma Longa root stem cells, documented in vitro for its action on follicular anchoring and reducing hair loss; AnaGain (Mibelle, Pisum Sativum Sprout Extract) is documented in vitro for modulating growth factors involved in the hair cycle. This data is in vitro and ingredient-based—it does not constitute clinical proof of efficacy on beard growth for this finished product. D-Biotin (vitamin B8) is involved in keratinocyte metabolism, but its topical efficacy remains debated (it primarily works orally in cases of deficiency). Hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, glycerin, and isomalt provide hydration and comfort to the skin under the beard—this is the formula's most solid skin benefit. Bioflavonoids provide an additional antioxidant effect. Essential regulatory point: the Sapiens website claims "stimulates growth," "accelerates growth," "reactivates dormant follicles," "fills in sparse areas." None of these claims are permitted for a topical cosmetic in the EU (Reg. 1223/2009 and list of common claims 655/2013)—they are therefore NOT included in this ParaDermia product sheet, which describes the active ingredients for their documented properties and the skin moisturizing action. Tolerance points: presence of alcohol (moderate proportion, in the middle of the INCI list) and potentially coloring/sensitizing turmeric extract—skin test recommended for reactive skin. Not recommended during pregnancy as a precaution.
