This treatment is interesting because it doesn't just deposit a greasy film on the lips. It combines three complementary families: an occlusive base (petrolatum, polyisobutene) that truly limits water loss, reparative lipids with five biomimetic ceramides, and humectants such as hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and trehalose. Nourishing vegetable oils (jojoba, shea, macadamia, olive, baobab) are also added. This is a coherent formulation for lips that are chapped or crack easily. Two audit remarks. First, the manufacturer highlights a "Fuligo® wax" with exfoliating action: this ingredient is not listed in the INCI list provided, and exfoliation is not the right approach for lips that are already dry or chapped. We therefore do not retain this claim and position the product for what it actually does: nourish and protect. Second, the formula contains rosemary essential oil, an aromatic ingredient that can be sensitizing: to be avoided on very reactive lips. This is a good product for daily use and as an overnight mask. However, in cases of deep chapping, painful cracks, persistent lesions, or cold sores, it is necessary to seek a cause (irritative, allergic, or infectious) and ask for medical advice rather than relying solely on a cosmetic treatment.
