Article 1 — Purpose and Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern all sales of cosmetic products and food supplements concluded on the paradermia.com website between the company Paradermia (hereinafter "the Seller") and any natural person of legal age acting for purposes not within the scope of their professional activity (hereinafter "the Customer").
Any order placed on the site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTC by the Customer.
Article 2 — Products
Paradermia markets cosmetic products and food supplements in compliance with current regulations, including:
- Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 concerning cosmetic products for topical care.
- Directive 2002/46/EC and its transposition texts for food supplements.
The products offered are selected by our pharmaceutical team. The visuals, descriptions, and compositions displayed on the site are provided for informational purposes and may vary slightly (formulation update, packaging) without the Seller being held liable.
Important: The advice provided on the site, in the diagnostic quiz, or in the editorial content does not in any way substitute for personalized medical or pharmaceutical advice. In case of doubt or pathology, you are invited to consult a health professional.
Article 3 — Order
Orders are placed online via the paradermia.com website. To finalize their order, the Customer must follow the following process: product selection, basket validation, identification or account creation, choice of delivery method, choice of payment method, and final confirmation.
The sale is definitively formed only upon confirmation of the order by the Seller, transmitted by email. The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of an existing dispute with the Customer, foreseeable difficulty related to delivery, or any other legitimate reason.
Article 4 — Price
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC), excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are specified to the Customer before the order is validated. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is placed.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or by any other payment method offered on the site. Transactions are secured by Shopify's payment provider, compliant with PCI-DSS standards. No banking data is stored on the Seller's servers.
Article 6 — Delivery
Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer during the order, within the deadlines specified on the product page or upon validation. Standard delivery times in metropolitan France are 2 to 5 working days from order confirmation. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and the chosen delivery method.
In the event of an abnormal delivery delay, the Customer may terminate the contract under the conditions provided for in Article L. 216-6 of the Consumer Code, after unsuccessful formal notice.
Article 7 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay penalties. The terms for exercising this right are detailed in our Return and Refund Policy.
Exceptions: In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for sealed goods that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection and that have been unsealed by the Customer after delivery.
Article 8 — Legal Guarantees
Products sold on the site benefit by right from:
- The legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code, which allows the Customer to obtain conformity of the goods free of charge for 2 years from delivery.
- The guarantee against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code, which allows the Customer to terminate the sale or obtain a price reduction in the event of a hidden defect making the goods unfit for their intended use.

Article 9 — Liability
The Seller cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract in the event of force majeure, disruption or strike of postal services and means of transport, or any event beyond its control. The Seller cannot be held responsible for the consequences of use not conforming to the indications on the products or the advice given.
Article 10 — Personal Data
Data collected during the order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Article 11 — Consumer Mediation
In accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code, the Customer may have recourse free of charge to the following mediation service: the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). The Customer may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform accessible at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Article 12 — Intellectual Property
All content on the site (texts, images, brands, logos, photographs) is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the exclusive property of the Seller or its beneficiaries. Any reproduction is prohibited without prior written authorization.
Article 13 — Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, in accordance with the rules of civil procedure applicable to consumers.
