Coco-glucoside completes the cleansing spectrum. Cocamidopropyl betaine, an amphoteric, thickens the foam and improves rinsing sensoriality—it's worth noting that this is one of the molecules most frequently implicated in professional contact dermatitis related to cosmetics, although the risk in general public use remains low at usual concentrations. Glycerol provides a post-rinse humectant film that limits the feeling of tightness. Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride (cationic) is an effective hair and beard conditioner at low doses, facilitating detangling and reducing static electricity without heavy residue. Two regulated contact allergens are present: limonene and linalool. Their declaration on the label is mandatory above 10 ppm in rinse-off products (EC Regulation 1223/2009).
