Caditar — Anti-Seborrheic Shampoo 150ml

Caditar Anti-Seborrheic Shampoo is based on a coherent duo of essential oils for managing seborrheic scalp. Cade essential oil (Juniperus oxycedrus) has been used in hair dermatology for several decades for its soothing and purifying properties on oily and irritated scalps. Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) is the best-documented antifungal active ingredient of this family in hair literature, with observed activity on Malassezia spp., the fungal genus predominantly involved in seborrhea and seborrheic dermatitis. Menthol provides immediate sensory calming action and is a real argument for compliance with this type of formula. Clinical data comes from a usage test and instrumental measurement (n=20, 1 month). The 52% reduction in sebum levels is based on instrumental measurement by sebumetry—objective, acceptable data. The 92% (itching) and 90% (dandruff) results are from self-assessment on a limited panel: they have indicative value but do not allow extrapolation to a large population. The "100% of cases for purification" data is consistent with a product formulated for oily scalp, but its interpretation remains cautious with only 20 subjects.
