La combinaison céramides NP+AP+EOP et technologie MVE est unique dans la catégorie. Contrairement aux crèmes à 'céramide' génériques (qui n'utilisent souvent qu'un seul type), CeraVe reproduit exactement les trois types naturels de la couche cornée. C'est un argument scientifique fort à valoriser en conseil pour les profils nécessitant une vraie restauration barrière.

Approbation AFE : argument prescripteur

L'approbation de l'Association Française de l'Eczéma est un différenciateur fort pour les patients sous suivi dermatologique. Phénoxyéthanol : nuance pour les très jeunes nourrissons

L'ANSM recommande la prudence dans les produits leave-on pour les nourrissons de moins de 3 ans. CeraVe Moisturizing Balm is the global benchmark in the CeraVe range for ceramide barrier restoration. Its strength lies in the specificity of the three ceramides (NP, AP, EOP) which replicate the ceramides naturally present in the stratum corneum — unlike the generic ceramides found in many competing formulas. The combination of Cholesterol + Phytosphingosine (a ceramide precursor) + SODIUM LAUROYL LACTYLATE (an emulsifier that helps incorporate ceramides into the cell membrane) is a sophisticated formulation for lipid restoration. The MVE® (Multivesicular Emulsion) technology is a real differentiator: the liposomal encapsulation of the active ingredients effectively ensures prolonged release versus a classic formula. AFE (French Eczema Association) approval is a strong dermatological argument in France. A point to note in advice: Phenoxyethanol is present in the INCI. This preservative is common and well-tolerated by adults and children, but the ANSM recommends caution for infants under 3 years old with leave-on products. CeraVe positions it "from babies to adults," but this nuance is worth knowing.

Ceramides NP (normal-phytoceramide), AP (acylceramide), and EOP (ester-omega-phytoceramide) replicate the three types of ceramides naturally present in the stratum corneum.
