Epil'O — Cherry Body Scrub 5 to 7 in Paris 240g

This Cherry variant occupies an intermediate position in the Epil'O scrub series: 10 ingredients, more complex than Pineapple but significantly simpler than Limoncello. The common technical base (exfoliating sucrose + organic humectant glycerin) is here supplemented with castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) which provides a welcome emollient bonus — the skin is more supple after drying than with variants without this oil. A point of transparency to applaud: Epiloderm proactively declares BENZALDEHYDE in the INCI. This molecule, which provides the typical almond note of cherry, is NOT listed on the EU 2023/1545 list of allergens requiring declaration — the manufacturer therefore had no regulatory obligation to mention it. Its spontaneous declaration is good practice that allows individuals sensitive to aromatic compounds to identify the risk. BENZALDEHYDE can occasionally trigger contact dermatitis in predisposed individuals, particularly patients sensitive to Peruvian balsam (cherry and almond belong to the same olfactory family). VANILLIN is also present — not yet mandatory in the EU but declared. No photosensitizing essential oils in this variant: no particular sun precautions to report. The signature cherry color is obtained by mixing two lake dyes: CI 45410 (Red 28 / phloxine B) and CI 42090 (Blue 1 / brilliant blue). These two synthetic food colorants can trigger reactions in hypersensitive individuals, to be noted as a secondary vigilance. Good variant for customers looking for a more intense fragrance than Pineapple but without the complexity of the Limoncello profile and without sun constraints. The added castor oil is an additional argument for skin that feels tight after scrubbing.
