This Limoncello variant is the most complex in the Epil'O scrub series in terms of fragrance profile. The technical base remains that of the series — exfoliating sucrose + humectant organic vegetable glycerin — but the citrus aromatic bouquet brings five EU declarable allergens (BENZYL BENZOATE, CITRAL, VANILLIN, LINALOOL, LIMONENE) and, most notably, bergamot essential oil (CITRUS AURANTIUM BERGAMIA PEEL OIL). Natural bergamot oil contains furanocoumarins (particularly bergapten / 5-methoxypsoralen) with documented photosensitizing properties. The clinical risk is Berloque photodermatitis: persistent pigmentary spots appearing where the skin has been exposed to the oil and then to UV. Even on a rinse-off product, residues persist sufficiently to cause a reaction. The recommendation of 48 hours without sun exposure is clinically justified — particularly important in the context of hair removal where the area is doubly sensitized by hair pulling. Technical note: the formula could use furanocoumarin-free (FCF) bergamot, a safer version available in cosmetics. The claim "98% natural origin" remains globally defensible, but the list of synthetic fragrances nuances the interpretation for profiles favoring minimalism. Recommend this variant for clients with no history of fragrance sensitivity and who are able to adhere to the 48-hour window without sun exposure.
