Epil'O — Cherry Anti-Regrowth Treatment 5 to 7 in Paris 50ml

LARREA DIVARICATA EXTRACT is the anti-regrowth active ingredient in the formula, dosed at 3% according to manufacturer's communication. This extract from the desert plant (creosote bush) contains NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid), an antioxidant polyphenol whose action on certain follicular growth enzymes is documented in cosmetic literature. The mention "dermatologically tested" on the packaging refers to a skin tolerance test and not a clinical demonstration of anti-regrowth efficacy — two levels of proof not to be confused. Pharmacological note: chaparral / Larrea divaricata is known for toxic hepatitis via ORAL administration (FDA warning since 1992) — hence the importance of the "do not swallow" warning on this pump bottle within easy reach. Via topical application, systemic absorption remains limited and tolerance is documented at 3%. This Cherry variant offers the simplest tolerance profile in the Epil'O anti-regrowth series, on par with Mango. Only one mandatory EU allergen declaration: FARNESOL. No photosensitizing essential oils. No camphor — usable without particular restrictions regarding sun exposure or pregnancy (see pregnancy consultation). Furthermore, EUGENYL ACETATE can hydrolyze into EUGENOL on contact with the skin over time. For a customer with a known allergy to eugenol, check the exact content with Epiloderm before use. SODIUM METABISULFITE present as an antioxidant: a very rare topical cross-reaction with food sulfite sensitivity, to be noted for affected profiles. ROSE KETONES (a natural component of perfumes according to manufacturer's notation) does not carry any major identified allergenic risk. Recommended variant for profiles sensitive to fragrances, reactive skin, or frequent sun exposure. Mango is almost identical — the only difference is additional POTASSIUM SORBATE, with no significant pharmacological impact.
