This oil is naturally very rich in linoleic acid (omega-6, approximately 72 to 80%), an essential fatty acid that helps maintain the fluidity of the intercorneocyte lipid film and skin suppleness. For skin stretched during pregnancy, omega-6 intake is relevant for supporting dermal elasticity.
