Novexpert's Double Booster Pro-Retinol Serum is one of the few night serums that brings together normally incompatible active ingredient families in a dual formulation: liposoluble vitamin A precursors (oily phase) and hydroxyacid exfoliants (aqueous phase). The biphasic architecture solves this compatibility problem. The Pro-Retinol complex consists of plant-based vitamin A precursors: β-carotene (carrot), xanthophylls (micro-algae), Laminaria ochroleuca extract (brown algae), carrot extract, sea buckthorn oil. These carotenoids are converted into retinol at the cellular level gradually and in a regulated manner, according to the skin's needs — a distinct mechanism from direct topical retinol, which is more predictable in terms of side effects.
