ES Serum is the recovery and comfort serum in the Cos De Baha range. Its distinctive formulation uses Centella Asiatica extract as the primary ingredient—a concentrated non-aqueous base—which concentrates the soothing and restorative active compounds of this adaptogenic plant (madecassoside, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, asiaticoside). sh-Oligopeptide-1—the INCI name for cosmetic EGF—is present at 5 ppm (0.0005%), a signaling concentration. Note: the efficacy of topically applied cosmetic EGF is subject to scientific debate (peptide penetration through the intact stratum corneum is limited without a dedicated vehicle, and concentrations used in professional aesthetic medicine exceed 1,000 ppm); at 5 ppm, the signaling effect is biologically plausible but not demonstrated in a finished product by published independent clinical data. Madecassoside (an active isolate of Centella) enhances skin barrier recovery and reduces inflammation. Adenosine contributes to density and elasticity via the cAMP pathway. Tropolone (position 22) plays a dual role: natural tyrosinase inhibitor (very minor depigmentation) and broad-spectrum antimicrobial (natural preservative). Lecithin improves skin penetration due to its compatibility with cell membranes. Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer and sodium polyacrylate are the thickening polymers responsible for the gel texture. The formula is overall very clean—no irritants, no fragrance, compatible with the most sensitive skin and with pregnancy.
