D-Lab's Pousse Complex is one of the few hair formulas that simultaneously combines sulfur amino acids that are components of keratin (methionine, cystine, lysine, arginine), B vitamins with validated European claims (biotin B8, folic acid B9, pantothenic acid B5), and targeted plant extracts. Biotin is the only active ingredient in this formula with an EU 432/2012 claim directly related to hair. The manufacturer's claims regarding hair follicle stimulation and accelerated growth are not supported by clinical data published in peer-reviewed journals. Key pharmacist alert: Lithothamnium calcareum contains natural iodine.
