Haruharu Wonder — Centella 4% TXA Gel Serum 30ml

This serum targets pigmentation through three distinct pathways, which is the most rigorous approach for treating stubborn spots. 4% TXA is the main active ingredient: it acts upstream of melanogenesis by blocking interactions between melanocytes and keratinocytes independently of UV irradiation, a mechanism distinct from that of classic tyrosinase inhibitors (arbutin, kojic acid). It is one of the best-documented active ingredients for PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) on dark skin, with a superior tolerance profile to hydroquinone. 4% niacinamide blocks the transfer of already formed melanosomes—a complementary and non-redundant action with TXA. Both active ingredients at 4% each, as confirmed on the packaging, are at clinically relevant concentrations. Ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C, position 14 on the EU packaging INCI) and sodium ascorbyl phosphate act as antioxidants and secondary inhibitors of melanogenesis.
