Novexpert's Trio-Zinc Booster Serum is the core serum in the Trio-Zinc range. Its formula targets the mechanisms of sebum overproduction linked to stress, hormonal and dietary factors — without using salicylic acid (excluded by Novexpert as a precautionary principle). The Trio-Zinc complex (ZINC GLUCONATE + ZINC LACTATE + ZINC PCA) combines three forms of zinc with complementary profiles: sebum regulation, redness reduction, and antioxidant action on sebum lipids. Serenoa serrulata (saw palmetto) extract inhibits 5-α-reductase, an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestosterone), thereby reducing androgen stimulation of the sebaceous glands — a well-documented mechanism. BAKUCHIOL provides its retinol-like action (collagen, surface exfoliation) without photosensitization, complementing the zinc/saw palmetto action. Succinic acid gently purifies. BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-2, ADENOSINE, BISABOLOL, and Laminaria ochroleuca extract complete the soothing, anti-aging, and revitalizing action. Gradual introduction required: like the Foaming Jelly (PHA), this serum must be introduced gradually (every other day for the 1st week) to minimize any discomfort. It can be used morning and evening.
