This cream is based on a consistent formulation approach for skin with a weakened barrier. Centella asiatica is fully represented here: the raw extract accompanied by its four individual active derivatives—asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, madecassoside. This is a more comprehensive approach than simply adding the extract: the proportions are controlled, and the synergistic fractions are preserved. Ceramide NP replicates the natural structure of the intercellular cement of the stratum corneum. Combined with the fatty acids in the formula—palmitic, oleic, arachidic—it supports the reconstitution of the surface lipid film without occlusion. Squalane and vegetable oils (olive, shea) complete the emollient profile without adding comedogenic overload. The four forms of hyaluronic acid cover different epidermal depths. Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate shows better oxidation resistance and increased affinity for the stratum corneum surface compared to standard HA.
