The combination of five endogenous ceramides (NP, NG, NS, AS, AP) with Cholesterol, Palmitic Acid, and Stearic Acid faithfully replenishes the lipid triad of the stratum corneum. This approach is documented in dermatological literature as the gold standard protocol for barrier restoration—identical in its logic to the restorative barrier formulas used post-procedure or for atopic-prone skin. Hydrogenated Lecithin (phospholipid) improves the integration of exogenous lipids into the intercellular matrix. Panthenol enhances water retention. The "cushiony fast-absorbing" texture is due to the combination of Methyl Trimethicone + Phenyl Trimethicone + Hydrogenated Polydecene, which provide a satiny glide and rapid absorption without a heavy occlusive residue—making this cream suitable for daily use on all skin types, including combination. However, here, CITRONELLOL is also listed as a standalone entry in the INCI—meaning its concentration exceeds the regulatory threshold for mandatory declaration, irrespective of its presence in Geranium essential oil. In a leave-on product, this threshold is 0.001%. The simultaneous presence of Geranium essential oil (a natural source of CITRONELLOL) and a standalone CITRONELLOL entry indicates a significant total concentration.
