Oxyprolane — Flex BT45

Flex BT45 is Oxyprolane's joint formula. Its architecture is based on five active ingredients covering the different mechanisms of joint comfort: matrix reconstruction (hydrolyzed collagen), anti-inflammatory action (MSM, EPA-DHA), synovial fluidity (omega-3), connective tissue and bone formation (manganese), and collagen synthesis (vitamin C). The composition is presented for 2 capsules. The dosage is biphasic: 1 to 2 capsules per day for one week (loading phase), then 1 capsule per day for 3 months (maintenance). For maintenance, the values per dose are therefore half of those shown in the table. Type 1 marine collagen is hydrolyzed and double-encapsulated—the same technology as Dermic BT60. The double certification of the fish oil (Friend of the Sea + Marin Trust) is a strong traceability point: preserved French fishing zones, absence of industrial contamination. MSM (140 mg for 2 capsules) is the support dose. Clinical studies on joint MSM generally use higher doses (1-3 g/day for osteoarthritis trials), but at this dose, its role is that of a sulfur cofactor and a background anti-inflammatory—to be presented as such. Manganese at 2 mg for 2 capsules (i.e., 1 mg/capsule) covers 100% of the EU RDA (manganese RDA = 2 mg). "Normal formation of connective tissues" and "maintenance of normal bones" claims are authorized in the EU. Vitamin C at 24 mg for 2 capsules (12 mg/capsule) is 30% of the EU RDA for 2 capsules—its role is as a collagen synthesis cofactor. Allergens: five declared—fish, shellfish, mollusks, milk, soy. Milk and soy likely come from the encapsulation excipients. Fish or shellfish allergy = formal contraindication indicated by the manufacturer. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: the manufacturer states "not recommended without medical advice"—less restrictive wording than an absolute contraindication, but fish oil and krill justify the precaution.
